Hello, I'm Doctor Kyle Bostick. I was born in Big Spring, Tx but grew up in the Leander/Austin area back before they were connected by urban sprawl. My interest in animals and their care goes back to my childhood when I spent lots of time on my grandparents' farms in Roscoe and Marshall, TX. I know for sure that by 3rd grade, when asked, I always said I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up.

My quest to accomplish that dream really began in high school when I began raising show cattle on our 30 acres in Leander, became very active in FFA and took a job working for our family veterinarian in Austin. Soon I was spending every free moment working at the vet clinic, before school, after school, weekends, and on breaks from school. And when I wasn't there, you'd find me at a stock show, an FFA competition or meeting.

After moving to college I continued to work as a veterinary technician whenever time allowed back home and in College Station. After three years of undergraduate study and four years of veterinary study, I finally realized my childhood dream in May 2005 when I graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

Later that same year I married my amazing wife, Shaina, and moved to Crockett, Texas to begin life a rural mixed animal vet.......and as the wife and a rural mixed animal vet which is an experience in and of itself. I worked at Crockett Vet Hospital seeing anything and everything animal wise and Shaina worked at Head Start during the day and moonlighted as my technician at night and on the weekends. We loved our time in Crockett, and could write a book covering all the fun, exciting and occasionally wild experiences working on dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, cattle, PBR bulls, ferrets, alpacas, and guinea pigs. However, our hearts were never far from College Station where we met and wanted to raise our family.

After a year and a half in Crockett, God presented the opportunity to return when I came across an ad in the TVMA magazine advertising the sale of a small animal clinic. We moved back and purchased Shenandoah Vet Clinic on September 7, 2006. The practice has changed and grown significantly since then and is pretty much our life. I see the patients and Shaina pays the bills, the payroll, the taxes, makes the orders, and keeps inventory all while being a wonderful mother to our daughters Kylee and Kynslee. (Man I think I got the better part of that arrangement!!) Kylee and Kynslee are at the clinic with us on most days so don't be surprised if they great you at the door or front desk. To round out the rest of the family there are the dogs Pressley, June, and Bubbles.  Our cats Jasmine, Mitten, Mickey, and Elvis.  Dora the goat and horses Jessie, Woody and Bullseye.  We are blessed to be members of Wellborn Baptist Church and enjoy being active Sunday school leaders and participating in VBS. I am also a member of the College Station Rotary Club and take pride in the great service it provides not only in this community, but around the world.  I also serve on the TVMA Board of Directors representing the Brazos Valley. God has blessed us with this opportunity and are therefore thankful for each and every one of our clients whose business we depend on. If you ever need anything or have a concern, please let us know.

Thank you,

Dr Kyle Bostick DVM

Hello, I am Dr. Kelly Knappett.  I love being a veterinarian and caring for my dog and cat patients throughout their lives-from tiny puppies and kittens, to grey-muzzled, cloudy-eyed teenagers.  I am originally from Damascus, Maryland.  I graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania in 2004, and from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2008.  I lived and worked in New Market, Maryland for 5 years after graduating from veterinary school.  In the summer of 2013, I got married; my husband and I moved to College Station to begin his career as a professor at Texas A&M University and I joined the Shenandoah Veterinary Clinic team.  We currently reside in College Station with our mixed breed dog, Kepler, and our three cats: Ada Underfoot, Clemens, and Fritz.  When not at work, I like to travel, camp, run and hike, or just read a good book.
